Designing for Learning

In-class Teaching Module B

Introducing future teachers to digital, online resources and various networks for exchanging digital ideas. Designed to introduce and develop understanding, confidence and good practice, relating to digital, online resources and networks that connect to people and sources of pedagogical ideas, materials and personalised CPD: being a teacher in a digital world; widening the teaching and learning world.

When finished, the student teachers will be able to develop a range of digital instructional learning materials for use in teaching contexts; plan, teach and evaluate digitally enhanced lessons and plan effectively for classroom and other learning activities that demonstrate innovative ICT usages.

For more information about the course, please have a look at our handbook for Beginning and Student Teachers.

Tha handbook is also available in Italian, Norwegian and Portuguese.

To introduce the course to a wider audience, we at ITELab held a briefing on the course, led by Dr Conor Galvin from the University College Dublin. Some other universities piloting the courses also shared their ideas and experience with the course. Watch the video below!
