ITE Forum 2017-2019

A series of thematic seminars, including short reflective videocasts, linked to the discussion theme.  Discussion led by university and industry experts.

The Forum facilitated knowledge sharing between universities, industry and policy-makers working in Initial Teacher Education (ITE) on innovative approaches and resources related to the pedagogical use of ICT. The forum was co-chaired by Dr Conor Galvin, University College Dublin and Peter Claxton, SMART Technologies.

Expert discussant:

In iTEC (Innovative Technologies for Engaging Classrooms, 2010-2014), educational tools and resources were piloted in over 2,500 classrooms across 20 European countries, with the goal of providing a sustainable model for fundamentally redesigning teaching and learning.
