Are you studying to be a teacher and interested to connect with student teachers in other countries to experiment together, as part of your training, with some innovative uses of ICT to encourage active and collaborative learning when you start teaching?
The aim of this online survey is to learn more about the digital competences of teacher educators in Initial Teacher Education. By ‘teacher educators' we mean the lecturers and tutors who are teaching either primary and/or secondary (all subjects) student teachers to become the next generation of future teachers.
ITELab project focuses on the development of digital pedagogical skills of future teachers, with three strands: monitoring and research; co-design and piloting of new content; knowledge exchange through an online ITE Forum.

Results from latest monitoring of research and survey results of digital pedagogy in initial teacher education (ITE)24/09/2018
The publication of the ITELab monitoring report (2018) shows the increasing focus first, on initial teacher education in education policy and practice, and second, on the importance of developing the student teachers' digital pedagogy skills.
Innovative pedagogy using ICT, and international collaboration are just a few of the practical experiences that the ITELab project aims to provide student teachers with, helping prepare them for their future profession, and giving them a significant head-start for the beginning of their careers.
